Meet The Doctor

Dr. Todd A. Johnson

Dr. Johnson has lived his entire life in Illinois. Growing up in Woodridge Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, he played high school basketball, wrestling, cross country and track for Downers Grove North. In addition to his school activities he was an active member of the Boy Scouts until going away to college. He attended Western Illinois University where he received a bachelor's degree in biology. While at Western he continued to be an avid athlete and was on the track team, intramural basketball, softball, tennis, and bowling league. He also served as President of the Canterbury Fellowship for three years. The campus ministry was supported by the local Episcopal Church. Upon completion of Western Dr. Johnson was accepted into the Dental School at Southern Illinois University. He graduated from SIU in 2000.

Attending continuing education courses annually, he is also a member of the Local, State and American Dental Associations. "I am constantly striving to learn new and better ways to become proficient in general dentistry. There are always new methods and technologies being developed that will benefit those seeking dental care."

When Dr. Johnson is not at work he enjoys spending time with his family, working on garden projects, golfing, reading, exploring nature and visiting his favorite childhood destination, Michigan. Dr. Johnson and his wife LaNae have two children Kennedy and Clayton. "It is a special gift to have these two children, read to them, explore with them, and watch them develop and grow."
